Earrings Diver Paestum replica in Sterling silver. Inspired by the fresco of 480 - 470 BC Paestum, Archaeological Museum.
The Tomb of the Diver is an artifact of the funerary art of the Magna Greece of significant historical and artistic value, the only evidence of the Greek painting, figurative and non-vascular. The walls of the artefact and the roofing slab are entirely plastered and decorated with wall painting of a figurative subject, created in the fresco technique. The image of the diver constitutes the internal decoration of the roofing slab of a tomb found near Paestum. The man in the act of diving into a stream probably symbolizes the transition from life to death.
