Head of the Young Bacchus, marble cast statue, reproduced from the original, currently displayed in the Vatican Museums, Rome. The sculpture perhaps depicts Bacchus, the god of wine, an important divinity of the classical world. With rows of spiral curls  on his forehead (typical of archaic sculptures ) coupled with a series of ringlets descending on his shoulders. Could be dated to the end of the 1st century AD, Flavius epoch.
