Plate in Terracotta with the relief of the Victorytaken from the decoration of the Trajan's Column 110– 113 d. C., Rome.

There Trajan column, was erected to celebrate the victory of the emperor Trajan against the Dacians. It is to be considered the first "coclide column" ever built. Inside we can find precisely a spiral staircase, the cochlea. The incision on the column reports the events of the war and is made up of 33 carved and assembled marble drums. The ornament features the incision of 150 war episodes and is more than 200 meters high. 

The plate represents the rhetorical figure of the Victory who writes the Res Gestae on a shield and marks the end of the first war on Dacia.
