Aphrodite of Capua is a Roman marble sculpture (2nd century AD) preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. Found in the ruins of Santa Maria Capua Venere, on the occasion of the excavations that involved the area of the Campania Amphitheater.
The statue depicts a half-naked Venus resting with his left foot on the helmet of Mars, the raised arms indicate that probably there must also has been a shield, used by the goddess to mirror herself.
