Historical Curiosities

Capodimonte porcelain was born in 1743 thanks to Charles of Bourbon and Queen Maria Amalia of Saxony, who founded the Royal Factory of Capodimonte in Naples. This porcelain differs from other European manufactures due to the absence of kaolin, which gives it a characteristic milky and delicate appearance.

Capodimonte's works quickly stood out for their quality and meticulous details, becoming a symbol of luxury and prestige throughout Europe. Among the most loved subjects we find floral motifs, mythological figures and scenes of everyday life, which represent the beauty and creativity of the era.

Yellow roses, a symbol of joy, friendship and warmth, are among the most popular decorative motifs. This vase celebrates the art of porcelain modeling, passed down from generation to generation.
