The Basilicaof Santa Chiarais one of the most famous churches in Naples. To make this place even more surprising is the cloister with its beautiful majolica tiles, the result of skill and of the quality of Neapolitan craftsmanship. They were made by the “riggiori” Donato and Giuseppe Massa, designed byDomenico Antonio Vaccaro.
Inspired by the decorations of the famous Neapolitan cloister, this panel reproduces the decorations of the backs of the benches of the Cloister of Santa Chiara. The depictions concern seascapes, rural and mountain landscapes, as well as life scenes and celebrations.
