This Cameo Brooch is made of silver from the artisans of Torre del Greco, Halfthe. In addition to being a brooch, it can also be worn as a necklace, thanks to its hook. The central cameo depicts a classical female face or a mythological scene, recalling the art of antiquity. The background is orange, contrasting with white and silver. 

The cameo is a relief made on stone or, as in this case, on shell.  Its uniqueness is given by the fact that it is a product made entirely by hand by Campani engravers.
