Descrizione

The Basilicaof Santa Chiarais one of the most famous churches in Naples. To make this place even more surprising is the internal cloister with its beautiful majolica, the result of the skill and quality of Neapolitan craftsmanship.

Inspired by the decorations of the famous Neapolitan cloister, some marine, rural and mountain landscapes have been reproduced on this panel, as well as scenes of life and celebration, depicted in the backrests of the benches of the Cloister of Santa Chiara.

Our panels, made up of 9 handcrafted terracotta tiles, are suitable for tables, walls and coverings.
The decorations of the Cloister were created by the “riggiori” Donato and Giuseppe Massa based on a design by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro who in 1739 planned the renovation of the entire Angevin monastic complex.
