Historical Curiosities

Goethe's trip to Italy was a fundamental experience for the famous German writer. This journey led him to explore the artistic and landscape beauties of the country, rediscovering classical antiquity and the Renaissance. He visited cities such as Rome, Naples and Venice, where he was fascinated by Italian culture, architecture and art. The experience profoundly influenced his artistic and literary vision, culminating in his famous travel diary, "Viaggio in Italia" (Italienische Reise), published in 1816.
