This fascinating sculpture oftêtepays homage to the abstract forms created byAmedeo Modigliani(Italian, 1884-1920). In 1909, after meetingConstantin Brancusi(French, born in Romania, 1876–1957), Modigliani began sculpting stylized heads and elongated in stone, producing around 25 works.
