Bracelet in brass depicting the Ponte Vecchio of Florence .
The Ponte Vecchio is the symbol of the city of Florence. Above the bridge there is still the Vasari corridor, built by the architect Giorgio Vasari. It was commissioned by the Medici family to cross the city without danger. In fact, it is said that Duke Cosimo de Medici lived in the Pitti palace, and that he wanted a covered corridor to connect it to Palazzo Vecchio. In the fifteenth century it became important for the commercial activities of the city and for the markets, subsequently for the goldsmith art.
A gift perfect for those who love architecture.
