This Snake Body Armilla is a replica in 925 Silver, 18K Gold plated, of the bracelet found in Herculaneum and now preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Naples. It is one of the most widespread jewels in the Hellenistic world, a symbol of fertility and sexuality. 

The surprising excavation campaigns near the ancient beach of Herculaneum (1980-1999) have yielded a large number ofjewelsthat belonged to the ancient Herculaneum residents.

Gold jewellery, including necklaces, earrings of various shapes, sometimes enriched with pearls and finely crafted bracelets, reflect the social status of citizens belonging to the middle class.
